Pool turned out great. It did take a while to get the pool ready for the final coat. I had a lot of deuteriation of the pool floor. The repair mortar is very sticky. I found the best to apply while wet then leave it and come back to it when setting up. Smoothed out with a trowel. Drying time was slow as temps were in the 40's at night.
Plaster is a three-man job for sure. Don't try it on your own. It is a man killer.
Also, the first coat I applied very thick, second coat I thinned out and applied very well. Hoping to get a significant amount of time out of repair.

It was a three month and two phase process , but I could not be happier with the final result.
I want thank Sider for answering my questions through out and providing clear and concise direction.  I'm tired now but am sitting beside a brand new pool originally built in 1956.

Easy to work with and bonds well.  Sider-Crete Caribbean blue plaster was used over the top.  Turned  out great.
