Our pool was built in 1973, and was neglected for about 10 years by previous owners. The pool plaster patch, patched up the rough areas and holes.. it does a wonderful job. We had to order a lot  of this for our pool but at least we didn’t have to spend 20 to 30k to have it replastered. We probably spent about 1k. Which  I feel is a great savings and saved our pool.

Product works as described. I found the directions to be adequate to get you going but would add a few tips.
It best to use a quart bottle with ounce gradations made with a sharpie. I used a coffee creamer bottle. This will allow for mixing smaller amounts of plaster at a time.
Have two buckets ready, capable of holding at least 25 lbs of plaster. I found it easiest to work with half buckets, especially with mixing.
I used a heavy duty drill with an industrial paint mixer tool. Gradually add the plaster to the water to make the mixing a little easier. As described, it will become like smooth mashed potatoes.
Invest in a pool trowel, the rounded edges will make the application much easier.
I used drywall sponges to wet the patch after it began to set to remove any excess plaster, and then re-troweled to get a smooth finish.

This was my first patch job and the results were great following the directions. I chiseled out loose material and filled the area when it was dry. I found that the surface was walkable in 12 hours. The patch material is harder than my old plaster which ok with me. I had enough material to complete my stairs and filled 12 spots and 3 cracks.  The only improvement I’d make is to have the direction in oz only so it’s easier to portion out Smaller amounts and not the entire bucket, a description of Mix consistency would also help. I would also suggest using a mortar eggbeater attachment for a drill.  I found that a consistency between homemade ice cream and masonry mortar worked best for me.
