5-gallon buckets aren't really big enough for a batch of Sider-Crete unless you don't slosh it around at all. The correct quantity was two of the 6-gallon buckets for our job which used 7 batches for each coat. After your first batch, I recommend waiting until that batch is used up before you mix the next batch, so that you get a good idea of how long a batch lasts. If you mix too much all at once, it will get hard in the bucket before you use it. Clean all tools between batches.
